Siegel’s 1941 is located in the El Cortez Hotel and offers a feel of old Vegas as soon as you walk through the door. Siegel’s is probably most well known for their prime rib dinner at a super affordable price, but we can’t resist their breakfast and late-night menus as well. Siegel’s 1941 is open and waiting for you any time hunger strikes in Downtown Las Vegas. Vic & Anthony’s is an award-winning steakhouse on Fremont Street in Las Vegas.
Hash House A Go Go is one of my favorite places to eat on Fremont Street. This spot has received a ton of press over the years for being one of the best breakfast spots in downtown Las Vegas, but they also serve lunch and dinner. The restaurant has a number of mouthwatering samplers and shareable dishes, along with a full menu of entrees and bottomless mimosas. This is a great place to check out if you’re looking to grab a light meal with your friends while keeping the party going. This swanky steakhouse inside the D Las Vegas wows diners with a 32-ounce rib-eye steak that can feed at least two people.
Barrys Downtown Prime
This handsome vintage steakhouse at Circa features chef Barry S. Dakake’s wet and dry-aged steaks as well as Colorado lamb chops, Dover sole almondine style, and braised short rib. The restaurant serves table-side dishes along with a vegan menu. Dakake teams up with Yassine Lyoubi, Marco Cicione, and Donnie Rihn for this steakhouse filled with vintage glamour, including artwork from 40 artists adorning the walls. Request one of the cozy booths around an olive tree for a romantic experience. Open 24 hours, Freedom Beat in the Downtown Grand offers live music and a menu made by chef Scott Commings, the season 12 winner of Hell’s Kitchen.

The 99 cent shrimp cocktail at Lanai ExpressThe first spot on my list of the best cheap eats on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas brings us to Lanai Express located in Fremont Hotel & Casino. Lanai Express serves an assortment of affordable American and Chinese dishes. This shrimp cocktail, which dates back to 1976, is still only 99 cents, making it the cheapest eat on my list. They serve a brunch menu and happy hour menu, in addition to their normal offerings. You’ll find a plethora of plates here, like fish & chips, burgers, tacos, chicken dishes, ciabattas, and traditional sandwiches.
